The Magic of Cold Therapy

Did you workout today? Having a hard time waking up in the morning? Feeling generally tired and sluggish throughout the day? If you said yes to any of those questions, try this when you take your next shower.

I'm talking about a cold shower. I'm always preaching the benefits of doing this and for good reason. 
Here are the benefits of taking a warm shower vs taking a cold shower.


Warm shower benefits:

I guess there is a reason why Vikings, Spartans, and other historical bad asses swore on the benefits of taking ice baths and why today's athletes still use this method to speed up recovery.

Now, don't get me wrong, having the courage to stand in icy cold water isn't easy to come by. Once you muster up the fortitude to do it, you will likely become as addicted to it as I am. The bottom line is if you want to be the best version of yourself, you have to step out of your comfort zone.
